Mini Cookbooks
Our Volunteers and Friends helped create a mini cookbook for Members this month. From Banana Meatloaf to Gluten Free Brownies, we had quite the spread!
We also did a mini fundraiser to help a family pay their cell phone bill and late fees. This is not something we typically do but it felt like the right thing for us under the circumstances. The amount was just over $300 and we raised the money through messages and in-person donations in just a few hours. It was a true gift to the recipients and they are very grateful. The full amount needed was raised so it did not impact our budget for the month, although we did include the amounts in our income and expense books.
